We’re excited to announce that Lola Davina, author of Thriving in Sex Work, will lead our upcoming mental health workshop! Join us in a group workshop that will explore topics such as staying safe and sane during COVID, how to handle feeling grief and missing the fun aspects of working (touching money! hugging friends!), and what to do if life threw you lemons and you’ve found yourself on an unexpected hiatus from work. All registrants will receive free pdf copies of Lola Davina’s book, Thriving in Sex Work, and the accompanying workbook. As this is a group session, space is limited, please register soon!
Monday, September 14th, 7-9pm EST via Zoom. Register here!
This event is free, and open to current dancers, who we’ll define here as strippers who have worked up to the pandemic shutdowns- even if you’ve chosen not to return to work once since clubs reopened. Please note that because of the sensitive nature of this workshop, we’re asking additional screening questions and taking privacy measures very seriously from our end and are asking you to do the same.
Please share the registration information with your stripper colleagues and stripper friends, but do not invite squares/civilians/muggles to participate!
