Join us for a chill evening at the Toronto International Film Festival offices for a special strippers-only screening of a film about strippers! We will be screening the League of Exotique Dancers, and providing popcorn, sandwiches, and drinks, as well as TTC tickets for those who need them. Director Rama Rau’s documentary League of Exotique Dancers is a provocative “backstage tour” of the golden age of Burlesque starring some of the features from that time talking about their careers and also issues that continue to plague the exotic dance industry today, including sexism, racism, and stigma.
